Some babies were BORN to be in pictures. Sophia, the daughter of a dear friend is one of those children.

Amazing, 15 months old and she already has her “look” down. Skinny jeans, slick green rain coat complete the package.
Sophia is the baby that when you photograph her, you have to wonder, is this a Gap ad? Or just the cutest well dressed baby this side of the Mississippi.
Then there is my baby. Ruby, my little pineapple conure, my burst of freshness, my chirping mai tai. She is about eight months old now and just had her first wing and nail clippings. She was a trooper through the whole thing!
Of course, I cannot compose a post about “green” without including my first baby, Kewpie, a Quaker Parrot.
That is what green is. It is growth, regrowth and inspiration.
